Top Gear Live shows off Fake Ferraris doing Stunts?

Australia's Drive is claiming that Top Gear Live's performance which involves 3 Ferrari 360s are fakes and replicated using Toyota MR2s. And that the sound of the four cylinder engines pretending to be V8s was masked by loud music during that performance. Top Gear Live Press Conference in Sydney, Australia raises controversy

This is one of my favourite TV programmes and they are doing a world tour bring the TV show live to a stage. As a matter of fact, it is coming to Hong Kong in two week's time and I'm looking forward to going there to watch it.

In the press conference Jeremy Clarkson calls British Prime Minister Gordon Brown a one-eyed Scottish idiot and subsequently halfway across the globe raises a huge ruckus back home in the UK.

Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear is misunderstood. I think first and foremost, Top Gear is entertainment that just happens to centre around cars. It never claimed to be a factual car show. As such, one should see them in that light. The only thing that one can fault them is for some times carrying their role play a little too far. If you have watched stand-up comedy, the comedian basically makes bad jokes about virtually everyone, especially public figures and the audience. No one usually takes offense to this either. Most take it in good spirit from someone who is merely trying to entertain rather than state something serious. Very much like Top Gear.
